C.P. attended the Academie in Paris and was in close association with Max Ernst, Brancusi, Giacometti, etc., designed and made costumes for marionettes, and had a career in fabric and wallpaper design. These seven small oil paintings are a selection from her latest incarnation. Each is in a hand-painted shadowbox frame and is precisely done in naive style employing gold-leafing in the background.
