JOSE CARLOS RAMOS, born in Peru, integrates the tradition of European art with his native heritage. Working in a deliberately naive manner what emerges is a colorful personal style. He has had dozens of one-man shows as well as having several of his works in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. In 1988 he was featured at a show at the United Nations.
