STEPHEN SHOLINSKY, artist
and master printer, had a successful career as a mathematician before
returning, in 1968, to study at the Art Students League in New York
where he won the McNulty Memorial Scholarship. He then studied printmaking
at the Printmaking Workshop. In 1976 he opened his own atelier where
he currently works. His prints are in the collections of IBM, Citigroup,
NASDAQ, and Harvard University, among others. In 1979 he printed the
posthumous prints for the Whitney Museum's exhibition of 'Edward Hopper:
Prints and Illustrations.'
