DAVID RUSSELL is a
painter, etcher, anatomist, sculptor and compositionist. His work travels
from the symbolic and geometric to the erotic with his most recent exhibition
being at The Erotic Museum in Hamburg, Germany. He is “dedicated
to the possibility of combining erotic and metaphysical worlds in the
painting, searching for the thrill that this admittedly pagan scenario
can give.” He does not see “erotic art as something separate
from the rest of the painter’s subjects, rather as a neglected aspect
of visual life which needs much further exploration.” |
